Police Forced Entry

Ogura Battery Powered Rescue Tools removed

Challenge:

Breaking and cutting of security grills, padlocks, chains and doors can be difficult and potentially hazardous work. Police are often working in awkward conditions where speed of deployment and efficient cutting is paramount. Conditions often mean that traditional types of cutting tools e.g. oxyacetylene torches are inappropriate.

Solution:

The HRS Stubby cutter is perfect for slicing through chains and security grills. Using the battery powered pump means that there is little noise and no smoke or fumes. The HRS door opener supplied as standard with a 1M extension hose has very narrow tips which allow the tool to be forced into very tight gaps. With 4 tonnes of power, the door opener has a hammer point which allows the user to ram the unit into door frames also under security shutters and roller doors.
